Year 2 Trip to Natural History Museum
Towards the end of the Spring term, all of year 2 went on a very exciting trip to the Natural History Museum; it linked to our topic - dinosaurs! Throughout the day, we had a chance to look at ancient fossils and compare ourselves to very convincing models of dinosaurs. Some were huge! We even heard the roars of a T-rex and stood right in front of his wide, open mouth! Some of us managed to meet Mary Anning who was wondering the corridors of the museum with her basket of fossils. We had a great day filled with interesting sights and learnt lots of interesting facts about dinosaurs which we were busy sharing on our tube journey back to school.
