Hillbrook PFTA
What is the PFTA?
The PFTA is the Parents, Friends and Teacher’s Association at Hillbrook Primary School. We are a friendly, approachable and hardworking group coming together to raise funds to enrich the learning and enjoyment for Hillbrook children.
We meet regularly to discuss how we can raise funds to support and assist the children at Hillbrook primary school with extra facilities and activities. A registered charity, separate from the school itself, the money we raise supports our children’s education experience in partnership with the school.
To continue being successful Hillbrook PFTA needs your support! This is your chance to really get involved and do something wonderful for your child’s school and your school community. Please do introduce yourself and say hi.

Volunteer
Join in! Volunteers are central to everything we do. It might be collecting donations on a non-uniform day, helping sell tickets to events or buddying up with a friend and running a stall at the school fair. Get in touch and we can add you to our Volunteers WhatsApp group.
Remember that many larger companies let you take a volunteering day. Beats working!
Match-Funding
Ask your employer if they have a match-funding scheme. They may be willing to match-fund one of our events. Companies may match the fundraising total for an event, or for the stall that their employee is working on. Large companies often match-fund, but independent companies may be interested in charitable giving through match-funding, too.
Some companies that operate match-funding schemes are listed here, but there are many more – perhaps you work for one of them?
Second-Hand Uniform Sales
Donate your unwanted school uniform. Clean clothes can be left in the drop-off box in school office reception. To buy pre-loved uniform, come along to one of our sales or email your order to pftahillbrook@gmail.com. It's £2 for Hillbrook-branded items or £1 for no-logo.
You can also donate books, working toys and fancy dress! We run a popular Toy Tombola at events and regular fancy dress days throughout the school year.
